In the last blog post, we talked about 7 ways that you can build your email list. Today I’m going to share…
7 more ways to build your email list
1. Make Emails Sharable with Social Icons
It’s simple to add social icons to your email messages, so make sure you do that. Add them to all your emails at the bottom. Also make sure to add a CTA (call-to-action) asking your readers to share the email.
2. Create a Lead Magnet
A great way to get people to give you your email address is to give them something for free. Make sure that the freebie is specific to your target market to avoid visitors who just want the freebie and have no intention of ever buying from you.
3. Host a Contest
Contests are a great way to get more people to sign up for your email list. Especially if you run an affiliate contest on a product or service that you’re offering. You can also give people a chance to win one of your books or products if they sign up, share, follow, and like. Just like the lead magnet, make sure you are giving away something relevant to your target audience. Also, if you are hosting a contest on social media make sure that you abide by the network’s rules and regulations to prevent your account from being disabled.
4. Use Creative Twitter Welcomes
You can use software to send automatic welcome messages to people who follow you on Twitter. While people often complain about them, they’re still effective. It’s even better if you are able to send personal welcome messages yourself or by hiring a virtual assistant.
5. Host a Webinar
Webinars are hot right now, and are a great way to build an email list. Everyone who wants to attend the webinar has to sign up for your email list. Personal webinars are valuable to people and they are more willing to give up their email address for them.
6. Publish a Book
A physical book or an eBook published via Kindle is a great way to get your name out there as an expert in your field. The book can mention your email list and website too. It’s best to set up a special landing page for your book buyers.
7. Paid Promotions
You can use paid promotions/ads to collect email addresses. Try using Facebook Ads to collect email addresses, by giving away something free or requiring an email to watch all of a video.
By using the mentioned methods you will have a bigger list in no time. Remember, never stop building your email list.
